Meet Our Psychometrists
Carly Moellenkamp
Lead Psychometrist
Board Certified Specialist in Psychometry
Carly Moellenkamp earned her Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Spanish from Montana State University in her hometown of Bozeman, Montana. Almost immediately, she became interested in using her expertise in psychology in a clinical setting.
After gaining experience with children and adults in a neuropsychology clinic, she took on the challenge of moving to a new state to continue her passion for helping people understand their brain function. Carly intends to advance her education in a field closely related to psychology, exploring options such as neuropsychology, rehabilitation counseling, or speech pathology.
Hello, my name is Carly! I’m SO excited to meet you. I was born and raised in Montana before making my way to Colorado. I’m looking forward to learning all about the Denver area and participating in the activities here that are not available in my much smaller hometown, like doing yoga with baby goats! When I’m not working, I enjoy long walks with my dog (Nike), playing games, and working on every craft I can find. I hope you feel welcome here at our office, we’re here to help!
Payson Chittenden
Psychometrist
Payson earned her Bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University, studying Psychology, Public Health, and Biology. Payson worked as a psychology research assistant for two research labs throughout college. She also has clinical experience as a Behavioral Health Technician working with adults at a residential treatment program in the Bay Area. Payson hopes to one day pursue a PsyD to become a practicing clinical neuropsychologist.
Hi everyone! My name is Payson. I grew up in Southern California, but I am eager to explore all Colorado offers. I am SO excited to be living somewhere that experiences all four seasons! I enjoy photography, reading books, going for long walks and bike rides with my springer spaniel (Harley), and baking banana bread in my free time. I also love going to Farmer’s Markets on Saturdays for fresh fruit and coffee.
I look forward to getting to know you!
Emma Stern
Psychometrist
Emma earned her Bachelor of Science in 2022 from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, studying Psychology, Neuroscience, and Developmental Disabilities/Human Services. There, she worked in a laboratory as a behavioral neuroscience research assistant and as a mental health counselor in a residential setting. After college, Emma pursued an internship at the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center, where she provided adaptive outdoor experiences to those with physical and cognitive disabilities. She then furthered her professional career by returning to the clinical research field as she worked as a research assistant in the Brain Injury Neuropsychology Laboratory before moving back to Colorado. In the future, Emma hopes to pursue a PhD to become a practicing clinical neuropsychologist at a rehab hospital.

She led the CSU Neuroscience Mentoring Program, guiding students through their first-year academic experiences. With experience working across various age groups, Madison looks forward to engaging with patients at the Horizon office. Her goal is to be a welcoming presence, providing comfort to families seeking assistance. Madison aspires to pursue further education and become a doctor to support individuals facing neurological challenges and promote understanding of the brain.
Hi everyone! My name is Madison. I grew up right here in Denver, so I can tell you about all the fun things to do around here when you're not with us!
When I'm not at the Horizon office, I can be found spending time with my family and friends on outdoor adventures, snuggling with my dogs Ophelia (a chihuahua) and Ace (a rottweiler/bullmastiff mix) (quite different dogs, I know), taking horseback riding lessons, practicing music, and working out. I'm so excited to meet you!

Hi! My name is Frankie. I grew up right around the corner in Golden, Colorado. This means I know all the best coffee shops around, including one with a sweet potato latte.
When I'm not in the office, I love reading books on philosophy and psychology with my debate team friends, climbing, hiking, skiing in the nearby mountains, and always enjoying a good cup of coffee.
