Below are examples of how we help children and teens be the BEST version of themselves at any stage of development:

Cognitive Profile

We assess cognitive profiles, including verbal, visual, and motor abilities, attention and memory, and adaptive functioning (i.e., the ability to complete daily tasks independently).

Milestones

We determine whether children are appropriately meeting developmental milestones in speech/language, motor, adaptive, and social/emotional development.

Learning Profile

We assess learning profiles, including learning disabilities and eligibility for gifted programming.

Academic Assistance

We provide recommendations for a child’s optimal learning environment, including IEPs and 504 Accommodation Plans, therapeutic classrooms, ABA classrooms, and gifted programming.

Standardized Tests

We can determine eligibility for extended time on standard tests such as SATs and ACTs, as well as CMASs.

Mental Health

We evaluate mental health statuses, provide diagnostic clarification, and connect families with services and treatment providers to develop treatment plans.

Physical Health

We recommend ways to decrease the impact of one’s physical condition on their daily life, both at home and in school or at work, as well as with friends and family.

Adulthood

We can provide tailored roadmaps to help families prepare their child for adulthood, including entering the workforce, attending college, and transitioning to community living for individuals with disabilities.

Cultural Intersectionality

We help families understand how cultural intersectionality influences child development, considering factors such as gender and sex, religion, race and ethnicity, culture, socioeconomic status, and mental and physical disabilities.

Understanding Neuropsychological Evaluations & Our Approach

A neuropsychological evaluation by a licensed clinical psychologist (PhD or PsyD) explores your child’s unique brain-behavior relationship through interactive tests. We assess skills such as verbal, nonverbal, problem-solving, attention, memory, motor, adaptive functioning, academics, emotion regulation, and social communication. Comparing your child’s performance to peers identifies strengths and weaknesses, which are reviewed in the context of medical history, family background, culture, and education. Based on this, we diagnose and create a treatment plan to help your child reach their full potential. All information is documented in a report for parents and necessary treatment providers (per parent request).
